This week, in commemoration of World Tourism Day in Aragon, has taken place the ceremony of awards for Tourism Merit of the Government of Aragon in the prestigious setting of the Parador de Alcañiz, capital of Bajo Aragon.
We are very proud of our foundation Cook & Chef Institute, Bergner corporate foundation, awarded a Plaque of Tourist Merit, thanks to his work in the development and promotion of sustainable gastronomy and various actions, such as the International Congress of Sustainable Gastronomy GASTRONIMIX. This recognition aims to distinguish actions or people who contribute to positively enhance the tourism image of Aragon.
The director of the Foundation, Izar Villegas, had the privilege of receiving this important award from Miguel Angel Estevan, Mayor of Alcañiz, during the ceremony. We are filled with gratitude and satisfaction for this recognition, which encourages us even more in our commitment to sustainable development and excellence in the gastronomic field.
We would also like to extend our congratulations to all the distinguished award winners, whose tireless efforts contribute significantly to the strengthening and positive projection of tourism in our region. In this edition, Ultramarinos La Confianza, Grupo Aragonés Empresarial Costa, Hotel Viñas de Larrede, Basilicus Espacios, El Gastrónomo Zaragozano, Hotel Mas de Cebrián, La Torre del Visco and Hotel Palacio de La Marquesa have also received awards.
