Today, October 17th, marks the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, an area to which Bergner is fully committed.
Everyone deserves to live a life free from poverty and a chance to thrive. Yet, millions of people around the world are unable to pay for basic necessities, including food, housing, school or medical care.
That is why at Bergner we promote numerous initiatives which aim to contribute to an economic, social and sustainable development of the communities we have a presence in, such as nutrition projects in countries like India or Morocco; projects to help women at risk of exclusion; or education projects as a path to eradicate social exclusion.
As UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said: "Let us renew our commitment to a better world for all. Let us consign poverty to the pages of history"
