The consumer is central to the BERGNER innovation strategy. In 2016, the company created the Cook & Chef Institute in order to respond to the requirements of the new types of household and new eating habits. This foundation acts as a centre for research, innovation and creativity on the matter of product design. The ultimate goal is to improve the art of cookery, gastronomy and the links between these two and health and the environment.
The Foundation is collaborating with major figures from the international culinary world to achieve its aims. There are nearly 100 internationally renowned chefs from some 50 countries around the world involved, in addition to some of the finest international Cookery Schools across the five continents.
