Chef Pepe Rodríguez, juror on the prestigious cookery programme MasterChef, recipient of a Michelin star, two 'Suns' in the Repsol Guide and a National Gastronomy Award from the Spanish Gastronomy Academy in 2010, best cook and pastry-maker in Spain in the most recent editions of 'La Mejor de la Gastronomía' and renowned cookery maestro in national and international forums, is joining BERGNER and will be the new face of the company for the coming season.
José Rodríguez Rey (Madrid, 1968) is the chef-owner of 'El Bohio de Illescas' restaurant. Pepe has managed to be named an indisputable genius of haute cuisine and make his restaurant one of the cornerstones of national and international avantgarde gastronomy.
Alongside his personal career path, his highly personal cooking style that combines creativity, technique and tradition in perfect harmony is the reason Bergner decided to choose a chef of his renown.
