Bergner Europe joins the UN Global Compact
Bergner Europe has joined the
United Nations Global Compact as a signatory partner. This strategic alliance allows the company to reinforce its commitment to a responsible business model that respects the planet and people, and to advance its goal of creating a more sustainable world. Bergner Europe's adherence to the Global Compact is a further step in the company's strategy of integrating social responsibility as the backbone of all its actions and activities.
Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. There are currently more than 19,000 member companies in more than 160 countries and 70 local networks.
With this commitment,
Bergner Europe aligns its strategies and operations with the
10 universal principles of the United Nations in the areas of
human rights, labor standards, environment and anti-corruption, and takes action in support of the UN goals currently embodied in the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
